Mike Church (of The Mike Church Show) will be joining Beverly Stevens, editor of Regina Magazine in England for our Glory of Catholic England Trip.and his Invasion of the Dowry of Mary Saturday, August 25th through Sunday, September 2. Mike Church will be broadcasting live Aug 27, 28, 29, 30, 31. 

Mike Church will be broadcasting LIVE! from Walsingham, Oxford, Cambridge  and other venues as part of a joint journalistic sojourn with Regina Magazine. Mike will be meeting and broadcasting interviews with leaders of Wales’ Latin Mass Society, G.K. Chesterton’s custodians, leaders of the pilgrimage to Our Lady of Walsingham and much more. Mike might even go LIVE! from a pub or 4! This is part of the CRUSADE Channel’s efforts to expand our reach and bring CRUSADERS an amazing selection of LIVE! Talk-Radio programming no one else even attempts.

Itinerary includes: 

CAMBRIDGE: We’ll be staying close to one of the world’s most beautiful universities, wandering through King’s College Chapel, punting on the Cam River, browsing St Phillip’s Catholic Bookstore and pub supper at the famous Eagle Pub.

WALSINGHAM: Join a group of young English Catholics on their 12 mile pilgrimage through England’s green fields and quaint villages to one of Christendom’s legendary shrines of Our Lady of Walsingham.

BIRMINGHAM: Meet Alastair Tocher at the Birmingham Oratory and tour the small museum of Blessed John Henry Newman there. Lunch at nearby pub, on to St Mary’s Warrington,  then to Clitheroe for dinner.

LANCASTER: Discover how during and long after the Reformation, English recusants kept the Faith alive in Lancashire. Latin Masses in magnificent 19th century Gothic churches.  Walk the Tolkien Trail from the Shireburn Arms.

PRESTON: Visit the Southworth house, visit Houghton Tower for lunch and a tour, tour St Walburge's and meet the Sisters, Dinner at the The Plough at Eaves, Woodplumpton.

OXFORDSHIRE: Experience student life at Oxford, visit the Oratorians, see the ancient manuscripts at Bodleian Library, a walk through the ancient castle at Wallingford, a visit to a recusant chapel and lunch at the Eagle and Child with Joseph Shaw. 

LONDON: Visit the Tower, where St Thomas More and other Catholic martyrs of the Reformation were held. Stroll through St Katharine’s Docklands, under Tower Bridge, marvel at Westminster Abbey, experience a Latin Mass at St James’s and visit Tyburn Convent.  Visit with Professor Patrick Martin late afternoon on England pre-Reformation at St Mary Moorfields.
